President’s Message

We are getting ready for a new year! The 2022 VWGA programme is nearly finished and should be ratified at our next committee meeting. Look out for it next week on the VWGA website and Facebook. We have 8 (eight) Metropolitan, 4 (four) Country & 1 (one) Out of Sydney tournament. So let us all cross our fingers, toes, legs, etc.

The VWGA Annual General Meeting that was cancelled this year is now set down for Wednesday 23rd February 2022. All delegates will be sent the relevant information over the next few weeks. If there is anything you would like to put on the agenda please notify us before Friday 14th January.

The VWGA are desperately looking for new committee members. This involves coming into the office in the CBD once a week and helping with general office duties. Is there anyone out there who has recently left work and looking for something to do? What would be better than following your passion and helping at a golfing organisation? If you would like to join us next year please post, email, send by pigeon, etc your nomination before Friday 28th January 2022.

The office will be manned, ladied (?) by a skeleton staff during late December and the end of January. The best way to contact us during those six weeks is by email: office.vwga@bigpond.com
