PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

An end to another disrupted year. Fingers crossed for 2022.

The 2022 VWGA programme is now available on our web site.  The program and entry forms have been sent out to all Metropolitan clubs.

Unfortunately, there was a small error regarding the days we are playing at Yowani. It should read Monday/Tuesday. Sorry. There was also a technical glitch when submitting the entry form electronically on 1 December. This has now been remedied and there are several places still available, but you’ll need to be quick!

It never just rains it pours. For all of you that have been caught up again in the floods we are thinking of you.

I am very sorry to say that we are losing Lesley Paradine from the VWGA Committee after a ten-year stint. Lesley has been an extremely valued member of the committee and will be greatly missed. I hope that we can lure her back as an occasional volunteer to do some special tasks in the future.

The VWGA Committee wish you all a happy festive season, and a safe and healthy 2022.
