PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Over the past six weeks a metropolitan tournament held at Long Reef, and a 2-day country tournament at Cootamundra have kept the grass from growing beneath our feet! These are reported on later in the Newsletter. We have also held a tournament at Wollongong so, this, and Marrickville (June 23rd) will be featured in the August edition. Welcome Emerald Downs Golf Course (Port Macquarie) to the VWGA family.

We have now confirmed the dates for the 2024 Country Tournaments.
1. Tamworth  22-23 February.  The dates have changed for this tournament from 7-8 March.  
2. Mollymook 1-2 July
3. Coolangatta 1-2 August
4. Bathurst 11-12 November

As you can see, we do try to get around a lot of country NSW. Any club who would like to host a county tournament in either 2025 or 2026 please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Please note that a motion will be put forward at the AGM in November to increase the membership
fee of $7.00. We are also suffering the fate of many with increasing rents, electricity, insurances, and general office expenses. I can assure you that this is not a decision we have come to lightly.
