We are nearly at the end of a successful year. We haven’t missed any days because of rain. In fact, the courses have mostly been running, due to the dry conditions. We have played at Albury in a 2-day country event and held the State Foursomes at Bankstown since our last issue. Both are reported on later. Coming up is our last event of the year at Penrith. This will be our Xmas theme day and I hope everybody who participates dresses accordingly.

The AGM was held on November 24th. Unfortunately, due a technical issue we were unable to contact the delegates that were joining us by Zoom. We are very sorry and hope that the issue doesn’t raise its ugly head again next year. We were able to get a quorum as some delegates had either sent their proxies into the office or had someone attending in their stead.

The draft 2024 Tournament programme is now on the web site. The VWGA office will be closing for a few weeks over the festive season. You can still send emails and you are very welcome to put money into the bank, but the phones will not be answered. The committee have worked hard and are ready for a small break from the 16th December to 8th January.
