Marj Bradd of Shoalhaven is 100

Marj Bradd turned 100 on 14th October 2020 and has been a member of the VWGA for 44 years.  She was originally a member at Bankstown, then Nowra and now Shoalhaven Heads.

Marj was still playing competition golf at the age of 98, (her handicap was around 38 to 40 which is pretty impressive for someone of that age, and she at times would win nearest the pin, or longest drive in 3rd division) but due to injury was unable to play most of last year and she had hoped to return to competition this year, but due to Corona virus that has not eventuated.

Marj has been a mentor to younger members and in the inaugral days of the club volunteered (with her husband George (deceased)  a lot of her time to help make Shoalhaven Heads the Club it is today. In 2019 the Ladies Committee appointed Marj as the Patron, an honour Marj was very happy to accept.
