PRESIDENT’S REPORT
We seem to be having winter weather at the moment. It was bitterly cold when I played on Tuesday at
Kareela in their invitation day. We are getting to the end of our season now. Last week we played the VWGA Championships at North Ryde. Details will be in the next issue. We have Mona Vale – 28th October, Bathurst 11/12 November, (which is now closed), the State Foursomes at Bankstown 19 November, and to close the year our Xmas themed event at Windsor 9th December.
Also coming up is the Annual General Meeting on Friday 15th November. This is open to all delegates, either in person or on zoom. Zoom details will be sent out nearer the time. I hope that this year we get a good number of attendees.
Last week whilst playing with committee member Lesley Paradine at Castle Cove, was delighted to present the Challenge Brooch badges to the 2024 winners at Castle Cove (L-R) Jenny Cryer, Jill McLean, and Millie Lulic.
